Firefly Photography began life in 2007 on Friar Gate in Derby city centre. Since then it has grown into the region’s leading independent photographic portrait studios, focussing on studio based portraits including Newborn; Family; Makeover and Boudoir to name a few (a full list of our experiences can be found here!).

In 2015 Firefly Photography was able to open its first satellite studio based at Curborough Countryside Centre in Lichfield. Based just a 30 minute drive away down the A38, south of Derby and Burton-Upon-Trent, the Firefly team have been able to offer more portrait sessions across the Midlands as well as alleviate the waiting list Derby was beginning to get!

James and the team, at Firefly, are proud to be welcoming families back from the last decade, as well as new clients travelling to us from as far as Chesterfield, Nottingham, Birmingham and Stafford, to play in the award winning studios and create beautiful imagery which become cherished memories over many years to come.
